The latest Saskatchewan PNP draw has invited the candidates from Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand category. The province has held a new round of invitations on November 3.
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has invited the candidates from the International Skilled Worker category. The invitations were sent from the subcategory of the International Worker Category. The subcategories were:
- Express Entry
- Occupations In-Demand
Around 534 invitations were sent to the immigration candidates. For the invitation, the candidates were required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles with the SINP. The candidates were required to have a minimum cut-off score of 68. The 272 candidates were invited if they qualify for an invitation with 68 points if they possess 10 years of work experience, and a CLB of 8 or above, else the candidates will require an EOI score of 69 or above. The 47 occupations were added in this draw under the Express Entry category. The 262 candidates that were invited under the Occupations In-Demand subcategory, all required the Educational Credential Assessments.

In this latest invitation phase, Saskatchewan issued 272 invitations to candidates, having their profiles in the who had profiles in the federal Express Entry pool.

- Federal Skilled Worker Class

- Canadian Experience Class
The Express Entry candidates who file for the provincial nomination, and if they receive a provincial nomination they are awarded additional 600 points in their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. If they get this, they are guaranteed to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence.
If the candidates in the Express Entry pool had also filled the EOI for Saskatchewan, and they score 68 points in the province’s Points Assessment Grid, then there was a good chance for their invitation.
Occupations In-Demand sub-category
The Occupations In-Demand sub-category is available for all the immigration candidates who do not have a profile in the federal Express Entry system. This pathway is for those immigration candidates who possess work experience in occupations that have labor shortages in Saskatchewan. There were 262 candidates from the Occupations In-Demand category who were invited to apply for a provincial nomination.
