Ontario opens applications for International Students

The international Student Streams will begin tomorrow. Ontario has opened and closed the applications in 25 minutes for the international students with job offers, who are seeking provincial nominations for permanent residence.

 

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) will accept the applications for this program from August 19th. The applications for Foreign Worker or Masters Graduate Streams are not being accepted.

The application for international student graduates will be open during the business hours between 9.a.m to 5.p.m. The system will be automatically turned off when the registration is done.

Registration for Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream

 

The interested candidates need to fill the OINP online (e-Filling) Portal directly from Employer Job Offer: International Student stream page on its official website.

 

Employer Form:

 

The new Employer Form is also required for the registration for the international students. The latest and recent version of this form must be completed on or after August 19th, 2020. The employer form must be submitted within a duration of 6 months. The form must contain the recent information of the candidate.

 

The Eligibility for Ontario’s Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream

 

The eligible candidates need a job offer from a validated employer in Ontario. The candidates don’t need to be in Ontario, they need a legal status of they are applying to Canada. The job offer must be in the skilled occupation classes, such as type 0, type A, or type B in NOC. The applicants must have been graduated or have a degree or diploma program in Canada within the past 2 years. The applicants must be able to demonstrate their intention to live in the Ontario province. They also need to prove their ties and previous experience in the province
