British Columbia Tech Pilot draw: 80 new invitations

In the second draw of this year, British Columbia has given 80 invitations to apply for provincial nomination. The January 12 draw was directed under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP’s) Tech Pilot.

The immigration applicants who had a job offer in the province were invited to apply for provincial nomination.

Applicants selected in the most recent draw were from Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories under the Skills Immigration and Express Entry B.C. streams. Welcomed applicants required a base common score of 80.

Express Entry candidates who apply for provincial nomination and get a nomination from British Columbia, get an extra 600 points toward their CRS score and are encouraged to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

A week ago, British Columbia was one of the principal Canadian regions to commence the New Year with new solicitations to apply for provincial nominations. On January 5, 2021, a total of 168 applicants were welcome to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.

During that draw, applicants were welcomed under the accompanying sub-classes:

  • Skilled Worker
  • International Graduate
  • Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled

The BC PNP utilizes a focuses based framework called the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). The score depends on various factors, for example, language proficiency, employment experience, and having a B.C. business offer.

The candidates who received an invitation to apply, they have up to 30 days from the date of invitation to present an application through the BC PNP Online. An invitation to apply doesn’t ensure that candidates will be endorsed for an assignment.

Presented in 2017, the Tech Pilot gives an optimized pathway to Canadian permanent residence for worldwide ability with a bid for employment in one of the pilot’s 29 qualified tech occupations.

The draw for employment should be at any rate one year in span and have at any rate 120 days staying on it at the hour of utilization.

The BC PNP Tech Pilot has been broadened a few times since its dispatch and is as of now operational until June 2021.
