The candidates must be registered through the federal Express Entry System and British Columbia’s Skills Immigration Registration System to receive the invitation for Express Entry British Columbia.
The Express Entry system is a federal’s government based application system. The candidates registered in this portal or system are assessed and given points on various selection factors of age, education, work experience, and language proficiency in either English or French.
The candidates having a profile in provincial nomination receive an additional 600 scores in their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
The British Columbia PNP (BC PNP) has held the 25 technical draws since January, and the minimum scores dropping from 90 to 80 points have remained constant. It is important to know that BC regularly invites the workers in the tech occupations. British Columbia’s tech sector is growing faster, as many talented international persons are working in the tech sector of this province.
